Trump Gets Hysterical Over NRA, Frantically Tweets About Putting More Guns In Schools (TWEETS)
Despite the fact that it’s perfectly clear that most of America does not want the issue of gun violence in the country to be dealt with by giving people MORE guns, Donald Trump is sticking to his highly flawed idea to put more guns in schools and arm teachers in order to prevent school shootings.
As backlash continues to build up, Trump has been frantically tweeting his pro-gun stance for “armed educators,” clearly having sold his soul to the National Rifle Association (NRA), which is losing support left and right.
Earlier today, Trump tweeted his very misguided belief that “shootings will not happen again” if teachers are given guns:
“Armed Educators (and trusted people who work within a school) love our students and will protect them. Very smart people. Must be firearms adept & have annual training. Should get yearly bonus. Shootings will not happen again – a big & very inexpensive deterrent. Up to States.”
And that’s hardly all. Trump has been on one of his Twitter tantrums for days, desperately trying (and failing) to drum up some sort of support for his plan, which included a sloppy plan about how this could be implemented. Here’s what Trump has previously tweeted on the subject:
And as usual, there’s a tweet for everything – especially when it comes this moron. Here’s a tweet that Trump posted in 2016, which is now circulating the internet and coming back to bite him in the ass. It said:
“Crooked Hillary said I want guns brought into the school classroom. Wrong!”
I wonder what The Donald would say about that tweet now. Trump’s Twitter fit is proof that he’s now going out of his way for the NRA and has clearly been bought out. He’s pushing a pro-gun agenda harder than ever, and many more lives will be lost if he isn’t stopped.
